$9 million designated for grants to HUD Continuum of Care Program grantees from fiscal year 2024 whose contracts have expired or will expire before December 31, 2026, with awards prioritized based on need

Grants may be awarded noncompetitively to existing and previous federal continuum of care funding recipients, bypassing standard application and procurement requirements

Funding may support permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing, transitional housing, and system-related activities; distribution process must be established within 30 days of enactment

Grantees must report every 90 days on grant usage and number of people served; commissioner must compile reports and submit to legislative housing committees and the Legislative Reference Library
