Repeals Minnesota Statutes section 116P.17, which required recipients of Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund appropriations to obtain written approval from the Commissioner of Natural Resources before acquiring real property interests

Eliminates the 10-business-day advance notice requirement for land acquisitions funded by the trust fund

Removes the requirement that acquisitions be identified as "high priority" by the commissioner or meet specific acquisition plan objectives to receive approval

Eliminates the mandate for recipients to submit tax assessed values and planned offer amounts to the commission and commissioner before purchasing property

Effective the day following final enactment
