Extends the availability of $250,000 appropriated to the Office of Higher Education for peace officer use of force training grants from the original deadline to June 30, 2027

Funds provide reimbursement grants to postsecondary schools certified to offer professional peace officer education programs for in-service training on use of force, including deadly force

Eligible training must include scenario-based exercises with real firearms firing nonlethal ammunition, instruction on stress effects, de-escalation methods, bias motivation, and force-on-force training

Postsecondary schools receive $450 reimbursement per officer who completes training, which must be offered at no charge to officers or their agencies

Up to 2.5% of the appropriation may be used for program administration and monitoring
