Prohibits prior authorization and step therapy requirements for all FDA-approved medications used to treat opioid use disorder under Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid)

Removes existing language that specifically addressed liquid methadone prior authorization requirements, replacing it with the broader prohibition covering all opioid use disorder treatment drugs

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256B.0625, subdivision 13f, which governs prior authorization requirements for Medical Assistance prescription drugs

Creates parity with existing protections for HIV/AIDS medications, which are already exempt from prior authorization and step therapy under Medical Assistance
