Establishes a voluntary climate literacy seal for graduating high school students who complete at least two approved climate literacy courses and a final experiential learning project focused on climate change effects in their local community

Final projects may include capstone projects, internships, community projects, laboratory experiments, original artwork/writing, or student-led programming, and must be presented to an evaluator selected by the school or learning provider

Participating schools must annually inform students in grades 6-12 and guardians about seal requirements, and may not charge students a fee for the seal notation on transcripts or diplomas

Schools must collect and report data to the Commissioner of Education by October 1, 2027, and annually thereafter, including number of seals awarded, project types, and courses completed

Commissioner must submit an annual report to legislative education committees by January 15, 2028, and each year thereafter, summarizing participating school data
