Schools must form a school-based team of at least three employees by September 1, 2027, to receive and respond to reports about threats, violence, or harmful activity involving students or staff

The system must include evidence-based student violence prevention training teaching students to identify warning signs of self-harm risk and how to report concerns anonymously

The Department of Education must provide schools with a list of compliant third-party reporting system providers and may operate a statewide system; schools can choose to implement their own system or use the state option

Annual reporting to the legislature begins December 15, 2028, with data on report types, school responses, disciplinary actions, and demographics of students affected
