Appropriates $3,980,000 from the general fund for fiscal year 2027 for the protective services unit, with a base of $3,250,000 for fiscal years 2028 and 2029

Mandates annual reporting by January 15 on Capitol Security activities, including summary data on threat assessments performed, credible threats identified, security costs, and recommendations for changes

Requires implementation within 90 days of enactment, with quarterly status updates to legislative committees through July 1, 2027, and authorizes agreements with local law enforcement agencies for assistance with reimbursement for eligible costs
