Creates Distinguished Flying Cross special license plates for recipients of the military decoration, available for passenger automobiles, one-ton pickup trucks, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles

Plates issued free of charge with no fees for initial issuance, replacement if damaged, or annual registration renewals

Plate design must include the Distinguished Flying Cross medal image and the phrase "DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS," developed by the commissioner in consultation with the commissioner of veterans affairs

Plates may be transferred to another qualifying vehicle owned by the same recipient without payment of a fee

Effective January 1, 2027
