City of Osseo authorized to impose a 1% local sales and use tax if approved by voters at an election

Tax revenues would fund $13.5 million in city projects: $10 million for Boerboom Park Community Hub renovation and expansion, $3 million for City Hall renovations, and $500,000 for Sipe Park improvements

City may issue bonds up to the project amounts plus issuance costs, with bonds excluded from city debt limitations and not requiring a separate bond election

Tax expires after 20 years or when sufficient revenue is collected to cover all project and bond costs, whichever comes first

Effective upon compliance by the city of Osseo's governing body and chief clerical officer with state filing requirements
