Adds a Tribal representative appointed by the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council to the Metropolitan Area Water Supply Policy Advisory Committee

Changes appointment authority for representatives from Chisago, Isanti, Sherburne, and Wright Counties from the governor to the respective county administrator or county manager

Allows policy advisory committee members to continue serving after their four-year term until a successor is appointed, as long as they remain elected public officials, with no term limits on reappointment

Requires appointed members who are no longer elected public officials to resign effective with the termination of their elected role

Removes the Legislative Water Commission from the list of required recipients for the policy advisory committee's five-year reports, while retaining reporting to relevant legislative committees
