Grant funds support community reading coalitions statewide focused on achieving the highest reading proficiency scores and reducing inequities, with emphasis on brain development from prenatal to age three

Allowable uses include staffing for statewide coordination, coalition facilitation, meeting expenses, data tracking, benchmark dashboard monitoring, and evaluation

Requires a 1:1 private match for every grant dollar received

One-time appropriation available until June 30, 2028
