Housing redevelopment authorities may partner with state colleges, universities, or their programs to construct, develop, rehabilitate, or improve real property

Authorities have flexibility on construction warranties for these partnerships: they may offer standard warranties under chapter 327A, provide reduced warranties, or disclaim warranties entirely

Applies only to projects where a state college or university actively participates in the construction or development process

Does not expand or limit liability beyond what is expressly stated, nor affect warranty obligations under federal or other state law

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 469.012 by adding subdivision 14
