City of Alexandria authorized to impose a local sales and use tax of up to 0.25% (one-quarter of one percent), subject to voter approval at a local election

Tax revenues must fund the expansion and renovation of the PrimeWest Health Runestone Community Center, up to $30,000,000 plus associated bonding and administrative costs

City may issue bonds up to $30,000,000 principal (plus issuance costs) to finance the project; bonds are exempt from city debt limitations and do not require a separate bond election

Tax expires at the earlier of 20 years after first imposed or when sufficient revenue has been collected to cover all project and bonding costs

Effective upon compliance by the city's governing body and chief clerical officer with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021
