Establishes an exclusive property right for individuals over their name, likeness, and voice, which can be transferred, assigned, licensed, and inherited after death

Creates a civil cause of action against unauthorized commercial use of a person's name, likeness, or voice, including AI-generated simulations and deepfakes

Allows courts to award general and special damages, disgorgement of profits, attorney fees, and up to triple damages for knowing violations, plus injunctive relief

Rights survive 10 years after death, extendable in 5-year increments with proof of authorized commercial use, up to a maximum of 70 years post-death

Exempts First Amendment-protected uses including news reporting, commentary, criticism, scholarship, satire, parody, and fleeting or incidental uses

Effective August 1, 2026, applying to causes of action accruing on or after that date
