Prohibits Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid) from covering prescription drugs or active pharmaceutical ingredients when used solely for weight loss by adding this exclusion to the state drug formulary

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256B.0625, subdivision 13d, which governs the drug formulary established by the Commissioner of Human Services

Effective date is January 1, 2027, or upon federal approval, whichever is later

Joins existing formulary exclusions for drugs without federal funding, over-the-counter drugs, erectile dysfunction treatments, drugs without established medical value, drugs from manufacturers without federal rebate agreements, and medical cannabis products
