Amends Minnesota Statutes section 16B.325 to prohibit sustainable building guidelines from requiring renewable energy sources to be located on state building sites

Maintains existing requirement that new state buildings and major renovations must exceed state energy code (Minnesota Rules, chapter 7676) by at least 30 percent

Effective the day following final enactment and applies to new building projects with predesign work completed after enactment date
