Pollution Control Agency commissioner must submit a report on fluoropolymers in consumer products to legislative environment committees by February 15, 2028

Report must assess the statutory authority, administrative infrastructure, research capabilities, and funding needed to develop a program reviewing fluoropolymers and their threats to human health and the environment

Report must evaluate available scientific data on fluoropolymers and review other state and federal regulatory actions taken regarding these substances

Report must identify potential critical uses of fluoropolymers and their relationship to supply chains

Fluoropolymers are defined as fluorinated polymers with perfluorinated or polyfluorinated carbon-only backbones, or perfluorinated polyether backbones
