Amends Minnesota Statutes section 390.15 to expand fee authority for coroners and medical examiners

Existing law allows coroners/medical examiners to charge fees for cremation approval, report duplication, and other administrative functions with county board approval

Adds new authority to charge fees for conducting medical record reviews when an individual, facility, or organization refuses to act as the medical certifier and complete a death record as required under Minnesota Rules, part 4601.1800

Fees for medical record review may include administrative expenses associated with the review and completion of death records
