Exempts members of the Public Employees Police and Fire Retirement Plan from existing rules that suspend or reduce retirement annuity payments when retirees return to public employment and exceed salary limits

Allows police and fire plan retirees to return to covered employment as early as 31 days after separation from service while continuing to receive full annuity payments without reduction

Prohibits both the retiree and employer from making retirement contributions during the reemployment period, and the annuity amount cannot increase or decrease due to reemployment

Requires the executive director to seek repayment of annuity payments if a member returns to work before the 31-day waiting period, though this may be waived for inadvertent violations

Effective the day following final enactment
