Commissioner of Agriculture must establish a rotational grazing pilot program awarding grants to Minnesota farmers for projects that enhance prairie and woodland use while protecting surface or drinking water sources

Grants may fund establishing perennial forages for livestock grazing or purchasing infrastructure such as fencing and watering systems, with a maximum of $25,000 per grantee

Farmers must provide a 50% match (services, materials, or cash) and grants are disbursed on a reimbursement basis after successful implementation is confirmed

$2,000,000 appropriated from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund in fiscal year 2027

Commissioner must report to legislative committees by January 15, 2028 on grant results including number, amount, and distribution by county
