Minnesota would send 5 delegates to any Article V constitutional convention called by Congress, with one delegate appointed by each of the four legislative leaders (senate majority leader, senate minority leader, house speaker, and house minority leader)

The fifth delegate must be selected unanimously by all four appointing authorities; if unanimous agreement cannot be reached by the deadline, the state sends only 4 delegates

Each appointing authority may name one alternate delegate to serve if their appointed delegate cannot fulfill responsibilities

All delegates and alternates must be appointed no later than 30 days before Congress convenes the convention or 30 days before any Congress-imposed deadline, whichever comes first
