Requires all licensed teachers renewing Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 licenses to complete 2 hours of professional development training on dyslexia, covering effects on foundational reading skills, effective instruction methods, and mental/behavioral health comorbidities

New teachers must complete dyslexia training within one year of initial license approval; teachers renewing licenses who haven't completed the training must do so within one year of renewal

Dyslexia training is a one-time requirement that can be satisfied either during initial licensure or upon license renewal

Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board must develop the training with input from the state dyslexia specialist and provide all training and resources at no cost to teachers or districts

Effective date is July 1, 2027 for all licenses issued on or after that date
