Anglers with a walleye stamp validation would be permitted to use two fishing lines in open water, compared to the standard limit of one line

Walleye stamp holders would be allowed to use four lines when ice fishing, double the current two-line limit for ice fishing

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97C.315, subdivision 1, which governs fishing line limits

Existing exceptions allowing two lines in specific locations (Lake Superior designated areas, Minnesota River below Granite Falls Dam, Mississippi River below St. Anthony Falls) remain unchanged
