Expands the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) board of trustees from 11 members to 12 members

Adds one new elected trustee position specifically designated for a member of the local government correctional service retirement plan

Increases the number of trustees elected by association membership from five to six, with required representation from the police and fire plan, the local government correctional service plan, and a retired/disability benefit recipient

Governor-appointed trustees (five) and the state auditor position remain unchanged

Effective the day following final enactment
