Health plan companies prohibited from imposing cost-sharing (copays, deductibles, coinsurance) for preventive care office visits for infants, children, and adolescents

Qualifying visits must follow evidence-informed preventive care and screening guidelines supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

Cost-sharing prohibition applies only to office visits lasting 15 minutes or less

Health insurers cannot prevent providers from separately billing for preventive items or services tracked as individual encounter data during qualifying visits

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 62Q.46 by adding subdivision 2a
