School boards must allow all resident home school students to fully participate in public school extracurricular activities on the same basis as public school students

Home school students must be in compliance with Minnesota's compulsory instruction requirements (sections 120A.22 and 120A.24) to be eligible

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 123B.49, subdivision 4, changing "shall" to "must" and updating the legal reference for home school eligibility

Extracurricular activities covered include those not offered for credit, generally conducted outside school hours, and with content determined primarily by student participants under adult guidance
