School boards must allow resident pupils in home schools and nonpublic schools to fully participate in public school extracurricular activities on the same basis as public school students

Expands existing law that covered only home school students to now include students attending nonpublic schools other than home schools

Home school students must comply with Minnesota Statutes sections 120A.22 and 120A.24 to be eligible for participation

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 123B.49, subdivision 4, governing board control of extracurricular activities
