School districts with prohibited mascots must submit progress reports to legislative committees by February 14, 2025 and February 1, 2026, detailing website changes, new mascot approval, removal progress from uniforms and facilities, and funding plans

Commissioner of Education required to establish a funding application process for schools to replace prohibited mascots on uniforms, signs, gym floors, equipment, and other property, with reimbursement available for expenses incurred after July 1, 2023

One-time general fund appropriation to the Department of Education for mascot replacement assistance in fiscal year 2026, available until July 1, 2028 (specific dollar amount not yet designated)
