Establishes a grant program administered by the Office of Emergency Medical Services to help ambulance services cover costs of training employees as emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and staffing

Eligible ambulance services must be licensed and have had at least 50% of staffing provided by EMTs in the calendar year prior to first application

Grant funds may be used for EMT education program tuition, certification exam fees, background study fees for new EMT employees, and wage/benefit costs during training (capped at $26 per hour)

Appropriates $750,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2027 from the general fund ($1.5 million total)

Grant recipients must provide information to the director for program administration and evaluation
