Appropriates $8,600,000 from state bond proceeds to the Commissioner of Transportation for a grant to Hennepin County for Phase 2 reconstruction of the Hennepin Avenue Suspension Bridge and approach bridges in Minneapolis

Funds may be used for design engineering, construction engineering, and reconstruction of the three bridges, as well as roadway approach work including right-of-way acquisition

Authorizes the Commissioner of Management and Budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $8,600,000 to finance the project

Bond proceeds (excluding accrued interest and premiums) will be credited to the bond proceeds account in the state transportation fund

Effective the day following final enactment
