Increases the percentage of solid waste management tax revenues deposited into the resource management account from 3% to 7% in FY2026, 20% in FY2027, and 30% in FY2028 and thereafter

Maintains the existing 70% allocation to the environmental fund while reducing deposits to the general fund

General fund deposits from these revenues will end after FY2027

Resource management account funds are appropriated to the Pollution Control Agency commissioner for distribution to counties for waste management programs

Effective July 1, 2025
