Deputy registrars would receive $9 for each no-fee vehicle registration renewal and $13 for each other no-fee vehicle transaction they complete

The commissioner must compile transaction data and distribute payments to deputy registrars at least quarterly

Corrections to transactions completed by deputy registrars are excluded from the payment calculation

Funding for these payments is appropriated from the driver and vehicle services operating account in the special revenue fund

Effective date is July 1, 2025
