Adds a new provision allowing charter schools to receive local optional revenue aid calculated as the district's local optional revenue (under section 126C.10, subdivision 2e) multiplied by the charter school's adjusted pupil units for the school year

Amends the general education revenue calculation for charter schools to explicitly exclude local optional revenue from the base calculation, then provides it separately through the new formula

Charter schools operating extended day, extended week, or summer programs continue to receive an additional 25% of statewide average extended time revenue per adjusted pupil unit

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 124E.20, subdivision 1, governing charter school revenue calculations
