Appropriates $150,000,000 from trunk highway fund bond proceeds to the Commissioner of Transportation for expanding U.S. Highway 169 from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway between Taconite and Pengilly

Funding covers predesign, design, engineering, environmental analysis and remediation, property acquisition (including easements), and construction

Authorizes the Commissioner of Management and Budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $150,000,000 under Minnesota Statutes sections 167.50 to 167.52 and the Minnesota Constitution

Bond proceeds, excluding accrued interest and premiums, must be deposited in the bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund

Effective the day following final enactment
