Amends Minnesota Statutes section 273.13, subdivision 23 to add a new pathway for small residential parcels (less than 11 acres) to qualify for agricultural property classification based on market farming activities

Requires owners seeking agricultural classification under the new market farming provision to demonstrate at least $5,000 in gross income via federal Schedule F (Form 1040), or submit a farm financial plan approved by the Commissioner of Agriculture showing projected $5,000 annual gross income for the next two years

Separates "intensive market farming" (which requires no income verification) from general "market farming" on small residential parcels (which requires income documentation)

Defines "market farming" as cultivation of fruits, vegetables, or production of animal/agricultural products for sale to local markets by the farmer or affiliated organization

Effective beginning with assessment year 2025
