Appropriates $3,000,000 from the general fund to the Department of Education in fiscal year 2026 for a grant to a nonprofit organization to develop a global competency skills pilot program for students

Program must train students at multiple sites statewide in workforce-related skills including critical thinking, collaboration, comfort with unfamiliar situations, and forming evidence-based opinions

Grant funds may be used for teacher training, curriculum development, and support to participating schools, with recipients required to provide a minimum 25% nonstate match

Grant recipient must submit annual reports to K-12 education legislative committees from June 30, 2026 through June 30, 2029, including demographic, geographic, and effectiveness data

Appropriation is one-time funding available until June 30, 2028
