Provides a refundable sales and use tax exemption for construction materials and equipment purchased for Independent School District No. 166 (Cook County) between June 1, 2025, and January 1, 2028

Covers new construction including a secure main entrance, school office area, auxiliary gym, fitness center, activities entrance, and additional locker rooms

Includes renovations to the main commons area, cafeteria, bathrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, hallways, windows, doors, sidewalks, asphalt, and outdoor playground

Applies to updates for HVAC, lighting, security, and PA systems

Appropriates funds from the general fund to the Commissioner of Revenue to pay for the tax refunds
