Amends Minnesota Statutes section 124D.901, subdivision 4, to expand allowed uses of student support personnel aid to include maintaining positions that would otherwise be eliminated

Adds new provision allowing aid to maintain existing student support services personnel positions established prior to the 2023-2024 school year, including those initially funded with local, state, or federal resources

Requires superintendents or charter school directors to provide the commissioner of education with a statement of assurances that positions would be eliminated without this funding flexibility

Expands list of federal COVID-relief funding sources whose positions can be made permanent using this aid to include CARES Act, Consolidated Appropriations Act, and Division M-Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act

Effective for revenue in fiscal year 2025 and later
