County boards may pass a resolution directing the county auditor to randomly select registered voters to create a pool of potential election judges

County auditors and municipal clerks may designate election judges from this pool to serve on absentee ballot boards and at polling places

Randomly selected registered voters who are designated must fulfill the obligation to serve as an election judge

All election judges must still meet existing eligibility requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 204B.19

Voters cannot be excluded from service based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or economic status
