Appropriates $55,000,000 from the trunk highway fund bond proceeds account to the Commissioner of Transportation for the Trunk Highway 55 reconstruction project in Hennepin County

Funds will cover right-of-way acquisition, engineering, and construction to rebuild Highway 55 as a four-lane divided highway from near Arrowhead Drive (County Road 118) in Medina to County State-Aid Highway 19 near Loretto

Authorizes the Commissioner of Management and Budget to sell and issue up to $55,000,000 in state bonds under Minnesota Statutes sections 167.50-167.52 and the Minnesota Constitution

Bond proceeds, excluding accrued interest and sale premiums, must be deposited in the trunk highway fund bond proceeds account

Effective the day following final enactment
