Appropriates $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 from the general fund to the Department of Education for grants to the Minnesota Alliance With Youth

Promise Fellow program partners with AmeriCorps members, schools, school districts, charter schools, and community organizations to provide attendance and academic engagement intervention services

Authorized services include family and caregiver outreach, academic support, connection to out-of-school activities and resources, and individual and small group mentoring

Program aims to help students return to and maintain consistent school attendance

Minnesota Alliance With Youth must promote Promise Fellow program opportunities statewide
