Existing eligible programs include advanced manufacturing, agriculture, health care services, information technology, early childhood, transportation, construction, education, public safety, and energy

Scholarships are limited to students eligible for resident tuition who are enrolled in at least nine credits at a two-year college in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system

Individual institutions may add one additional area of study based on regional workforce shortages identified through Department of Employment and Economic Development job vacancy data, which can be updated every two years
