Expands economic interest disclosure requirements to local officials in cities of the first, second, or third class (as defined in Minnesota Statutes section 410.01), regardless of whether the city is in a metropolitan area

Requires affected local officials to file statements of economic interest with the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board within 60 days of accepting employment

Currently, only public officials and local officials in metropolitan governmental units must file; this amendment extends the requirement to larger cities statewide

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 10A.09, subdivision 1
