Amends Minnesota Statutes section 3.084, subdivision 2, which prohibits sitting legislators from accepting employment or compensation from lobbying-related businesses

Removes the existing prohibition on legislators working for "any other business that employs or contracts with lobbyists" if their job duties include lobbying or providing consulting/advice/administrative support for that work

Replaces the removed provision with a narrower restriction applying only to businesses whose primary revenue comes from facilitating government relations services, and only if the legislator's duties include offering consulting or advice that helps the business serve its clients

Retains prohibitions on legislators working for businesses whose primary revenue derives from lobbying, government relations, or facilitating government affairs services between third parties

Prohibition continues to apply regardless of where the business conducts its work or where its clients are located
