Amends Minnesota Statutes section 126C.17, subdivision 9b, to clarify timing requirements for school boards renewing expiring referendums without holding a voter election

Changes the deadline for school boards to adopt renewal resolutions from "by" July 1 to "on or after" July 1 of the second fiscal year prior to expiration, with a deadline of June 15 of the fiscal year prior to expiration

Moves the deadline for submitting adopted resolutions to the commissioner and county auditor from September 1 to August 15 of the fiscal year prior to referendum expiration

Removes language allowing renewal "not more than two fiscal years before the referendum expires" and replaces it with the clarified fiscal year timeline

Effective retroactively from June 16, 2024, applying to school board resolutions adopted on or after that date
