Mandates that every employee must be reachable within 2.5 minutes by someone with current AED and first aid certification training

Training must meet federal OSHA requirements, include AED manufacturer instructions, and be presented in a manner employees can understand based on their language and literacy skills

Employers must maintain written certification records documenting employee names, training dates, and trainer signatures, with certifications expiring after two years

Applies to employers with 250+ employees at a single warehouse distribution center or 1,000+ employees across multiple centers in Minnesota, effective January 1, 2026
