Construction contractors that have not reached or are not eligible for a waiver agreement with employees for earned sick and safe time may include the cost of that benefit in their prevailing wage calculation under section 177.42, subdivision 6

Applies specifically to building and construction trades, where collective bargaining agreements can waive Minnesota's earned sick and safe time requirements (sections 181.9445 to 181.9448)

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 181.9448, subdivision 1, which governs the relationship between state sick and safe time requirements and more generous employer policies
