Amends Minnesota Statutes section 181.9445, subdivision 5, to modify the definition of "employee" under the earned sick and safe time law

Expands exemption for farm workers from earned sick and safe time requirements by removing the previous 5-employee cap condition

Farm workers employed by a farmer, family farm, or family farm corporation who work 28 days or less per year are excluded from earned sick and safe time coverage regardless of the employer's total workforce size

Current law exempts farm workers only if the employer has 5 or fewer employees OR the worker is employed for 28 days or less; the amendment makes the 28-day threshold the sole criterion for farm employee exemption
