Eliminates same-day voter registration proof of residence options including vouching by registered voters, student ID with fee statements, and residential facility employee verification

Extends county canvassing deadlines from 2-3 days to 10 days after primaries and from 3-8 days to 10-17 days after general elections to accommodate provisional ballot processing

Requires the Secretary of State to conduct a public awareness campaign in even-numbered years (June 1 through registration deadline) encouraging voters to register before election day

Repeals provisions allowing postsecondary institutions to certify student housing lists for election day registration and eliminates post-election sampling verification of election day registrants
