Establishes a supplemental anatomical gift education program requiring 1-2 hours of instruction on organ, tissue, and eye donation, available both in-person and online with pre- and post-course knowledge testing

Adults who complete the education program receive a 50% credit on new or renewal driver's license and Minnesota identification card fees (credit does not apply to permits, provisional licenses, or duplicates)

Nonprofit organizations with expertise in organ donation will design curriculum, administer courses at locations throughout the state, and perform annual content reviews

Curriculum must cover general donation information, Minnesota anatomical gift laws, common misconceptions, and direct experiences of individuals impacted by donation

Effective date is January 1, 2026
